Automatic paste detection
Paste a prepared list into the OJS keyword field and the plugin processes it immediately when the configured delimiter is present.
Paste a complete keyword list and automatically turn delimiter-separated text into individual OJS keyword tags.
Entering keywords one at a time is slow, especially when authors and editors already have a prepared list from a manuscript, abstract, or research database.
SRPRO Keywords Separator brings back the convenient keyword-entry behavior that many OJS users remember from earlier workflows. When a user pastes text into the native OJS keyword field, the plugin detects the configured delimiter and creates a separate tag for each keyword.
The plugin works inside the existing OJS Tag-it interface, so submission metadata remains native, searchable, and compatible with the standard OJS workflow.
Paste a prepared list into the OJS keyword field and the plugin processes it immediately when the configured delimiter is present.
Choose a comma, semicolon, dot, or a custom delimiter that matches the way your authors prepare keyword lists.
Each value becomes a normal OJS keyword tag and is submitted through the standard metadata form.
The separator recognizes keyword fields in multilingual OJS submission forms without changing the language workflow.
The plugin adds a focused frontend enhancement and leaves the OJS core and stored metadata structure untouched.
The plugin includes the SRPRO licensing system and only activates the keyword enhancement when a valid license is present.
An editor or author copies a list such as “climate change, biodiversity, policy” and pastes it into the OJS keyword field. SRPRO Keywords Separator reads the configured delimiter, trims empty spaces, and creates separate keyword tags for climate change, biodiversity, and policy. Lists without the configured delimiter continue to behave like a normal OJS paste.
SRPRO Keywords Separator is designed for OJS 3.3 and uses the native multilingual keyword fields. Administrators can configure the delimiter from the plugin settings page and select comma, semicolon, dot, or a custom value.
